AN INVITATION FROM NATURE

Surely, nobody wants to be far from his motorcycle who is an enthusiast of it.  Especially in a country that is famous with its wounderful nature. To live without riding a long time in this kind of country is like a bird in a cage. Actually I’am trying to explain my feelings before I finally rented a motorcycle after five  months in Canada. So, when I was ready to start the trip that I’d planned, I was really excited.

I’d planned to start from Vancouver and to continiue through Squamish, Whistler, Pemberton, Lillooet, Lyton, Hell’s Gate and Vancouver again in two days. This was an interesting loop that I could have a good chance to see the varieties between different parts of British Columbia. I also had a passenger who is really interested in nature of Canada like me.

So, not doing care to cloudly weather, we started to ride to the north.  I wasn’t riding so fast because I wanted to feel the wind along the rain forest. Our first stop was in a small cafe near an old mine that is using as a museum anymore around Squamish. But more amazing thing than the mine was a hut with its an old blue bus as a kichen. In this short brake we were also taken a photograph in front of the beautiful scene.

After the brake I rode to Whistler. Whistler is one of the famous skiing centers of B.C. There are also some small scenery lakes to where a lot of people from Vancouver go and spend their holidays because of very near to Vancouver. When we arrived in Pemberton, the sun has changed its mind and started to shine. We were also hungry a lot.  So it was a good chance for us to eat something in a small lovely cafe with full of trees.

There is no dubth, the best part of the trip begun after the break. I’d visited many place around Vancouver before but I fell in love to the road with increadible scenery between Pemberton and Lillooet. Real wild nature. I’ve felt as if a bear would appear suddenly in every curve. There was a huge water fall (Nairn Falls) which were calling us very near to the road. We were able to hear but we weren’t able to see. I asked to Simon to wanted to see it. He replayed me “I’m easy”. So, I didn’t want to lose this opportunity and we left the motorcycle near the road and started to walk to the fall along the mad river. It didn’t take us more than five minutes to arrive at. In the time that we were there just near the water fall, I’ve not only tried to listen the sound and feel the power of the water but also taken many pictures with my camera. It was great.

We often took short breaks to see the scenery till Lilooet. When we arrived in Lillooet, a big surprize was waiting us. On the contrary an increadibly green scenery, Lilooet was a really old small mining town that was situated in an arid valley. First, we passed through the town till the end. Than we turned back and tried to fine a pansion or hotel room. There wasn’t so many choice because almost all the buldings were on the main street and there was only couple of hotel . We chose one of them and took a room key from the reception that was a grocery at the same time and left our back packs in the room. As walking aroud the town we’ve most sorried about teenagers who have not to do in this small town. There were some metal staf about agriculture in front of the small museum. There is also a metal box that has been used as a jail.
